Endlich wieder einmal ein funktionierender Internetzugang. Ab English Harbour sind die Bildunterschriften nachgetragen, natürlich sind auch die neuen Bilder mit Beschriftung. Endlich wieder genug Sonne und damit genug Strom für die Computerarbeit. Heute haben wir ein österreichisches Paar kennen gelernt, nach dem Essen sind wir auf ein Gläschen Wein eingeladen, deshalb ist jetzt Schluss.

Im letzten Bericht sind wir ja in St. Barts angekommen und haben dort in der Baie de St. Jean übernachtet. Am nächsten Morgen gingen wir Anker auf, segelten gemütlich die Insel entlang nach Nordwesten, umrundeten das Kap und motorten gegen den Wind nach Gustavia, der Hauptstadt von St. Barts.

Von Antigua nach St. Barths

Vor einer Woche sind wir von Antigua weiter nach Barbuda gesegelt. Barbuda liegt ja etwas abseits und so segeln nur wenige Boote dorthin. Nachdem wir in St John‘s vergessen hatten unser Cruising Permit für Antigua Und Barbuda zu verlängern, mussten wir in die Hauptstadt Codrington, um sie zu verlängern. Danach waren wir noch an der Nordküste, wo kilometerlange einsame Sandstrände liegen. Mit dem Schlauchboot haben wir die Gegend erkundet bevor wir Freitag in der Früh eine Stunde vor Sonnenaufgang nach St. Barths weitergesegelt sind. Gleich am Vormittag hat ein Thunfisch angebissen, aber leider kurz bevor wir ihn im Boot hatten konnte er sich losreißen. Leider kein Fisch heute zum Abendessen!
