Auf dem Weg nach Mourtos und End Bay

Nachdem wir Parga vormittags verlassen haben motoren wir wieder einmal unserem neuen Etappenziel entgegen. Wir runden Kap Trophali, leichter Südwind kommt auf. Ich bereite alles für den Einsatz unseres Parasails vor, doch noch bläst zu wenig Wind. Nach einer Weile verstärkt er sich etwas und wir lassen die gelbe Blase aus dem Bergeschlauch. Wir sind zwar langsamer als die restlichen Boote auf dem gleichen Kurs, dafür segeln wir als Einzige.

Sabina sagt:“ Schau da fahren zwei Flottillenkapitäne aneinander vorbei“. Dazu muss gesagt werden ,hier im ionischen Meer gibt es einige Flottillen der Fa Neilson aus Großbritannien. Dabei fahren 5-7 Boot gemeinsam im lockeren Verband einen Törn. Immer dabei ist der Flottillenkapitän, praktisch das Mädchen für alles. Er bestimmt das Tagesziel, hilft, repariert die Toilette , usw. Ich antworte: „Wirst sehen die bleiben beide stehen lehnen sich wie die Busfahrer aus dem Fenster und reden miteinander.“ Sabina:“ Glaubst wirklich“. Ich:(Schuss ins Blaue) Sicher wie in Wien, wirst schon sehen.“ Keine zwei Minuten später halten die Beiden wirklich an und reden. Sabina: „Das ist ja unglaublich.“

Unter dem Parasail laufen wir in die Endbay, meinem Lieblingsankerplatz im Mourtosarchipel ein. Hier liegt man von allen Winden geschützt, eine Sandbarre trennt die Durchfahrt zwischen Insel und Festland in zwei Hälften und man ist zu Fuß in einer viertel Stunde in Syvota, einem malerischen Küstenstädtchen, gegenüber von Korfu. Hier hat man alle Vorteile des Städtchens, zusätzlich ist es am Abend ruhig und das türkisfarbige Wasser lädt zum Schwimmen ein. Sabina schwimmt mit der Landleine zu einem Felsen und macht dort unser Heck fest. Nachdem das Schiff sicher verankert ist, springe auch ich hinein und wir sitzen eine Weile im warmen seichten Wasser, bevor wir uns zum Trocknen auf das Vordeck legen.
