Zumindest auf dem afrikanischen Kontinent, in der spanischen Enklave Ceuta, die auf der anderen Seite der Straße von Gibraltar liegt. Wir wollten nicht tagelang auf dem Ankerplatz von La Linea herumschaukeln und auf günstige Windverhältnisse für unsere Weiterfahrt zu den Balearen warten, deshalb ein kleiner Abstecher nach Afrika.
Gerade als wir den Anker lichten wollten, kam ein Deutscher längseits und warnte uns vor dem starken Wind in der Straße von Gibraltar. Also chequten wir nochmals den Wetterbericht und fanden so wie gestern 10- 15 Knoten prognostiziert. Was tun? Vom Ankerplatz in La Linea bis Ceuta auf der afrikanischen Seite sind es knapp 15 Seemeilen, von Europa Point an der Südspitze Gibraltars nur 12. Wir segeln einfach bis Europa Point, schauen uns die Wellen an und wenn es nicht zu arg ist fahren wir trotzdem. Und genauso war es, bei ca 15 Knoten Halbwind erreichten wir nach etwas mehr als 3 Stunden die spanische Enklave wo wir in der Marina Herkules anlegten. Auch unsere Genua, die Sabina nun schon zum drittenmal flicken mußte hat den Belastungstest bestanden. Morgen werden wir vielleicht einen Ausflug nach Marokko machen.
